TRIBUTE POETRY

In their uniforms ,they stood proud
Their life was to protect and serve
On that fateful day of 9/11
They never lost their nerve
Fear was never felt
Saving people was their goal
Sadly they were taken from us
The Lord took them, body and soul
They are never to be forgotten
They were the bravest ever to be
We honor them with prayers
They were a gift to you amd me
We fly our flags half mast
Remembering that heartbreaking day
They will forever remain in our hearts
And the price they had to pay.
