We mourn the loss of our brother in blue,
This pain is shared with all that he knew.
His family and friends feel this loss is so wrong,
We mourn DSN 214, Officer Armstrong
He dedicated his life to his own home town,
And worked to protect it, ‘til he was taken down.
His smile was contagious — he flashed it with ease,
His death brought so many down to their knees.
We’ll miss his humor and the way that he spoke,
We’ll miss the way he would smirk at a joke.
We’ll miss Scott at roll call and after his shift,
We’ll keep him in our hearts — he was God’s precious gift.
Farewell dear Co-worker, Brother and Friend,
May you rest in peace and our hearts soon mend.
