Today we lost four beautiful lives, Officers dedicated and sworn to protect you and I.
How can this be, you surprisingly ask, I just
hung up the phone and we said our good byes.
The phone rings hesitantly loud as I hold the receiver close to my ear. We are told that an assasin's
bullet found its mark on their hearts
from the unsuspecting rear.
We fall upon our knees as tears began to well.
This day forth our Beloved Brothers and sister
fell.
We will carry on their torch as our lives are dedicated to do, we will walk the beats, ride
the streets as we are expected to do.
With heavy hearts we all will mourn this our heavy loss, but in that day we shall meet again
and the order of the 'Thin Blue Line" will once again be proud to stand.
